Denali Glass Studio opened in May of 2004.  It started out in a new 16x24 cabin, built by Michelle‘s boyfriend, Robert Young.  By May of 2005, Denali Glass Studio moved locations (only walking distance) and expanded the business.
Denali Glass Studio was opened soon after Michelle’s passion for glass evolved. As there was no stained glass place in Denali, Michelle thought it was a good idea to bring this to the community.  Denali Glass Studio focuses on stained glass, fused glass, and glass beads.  We do custom orders of all kinds.  We have around 20 local artists, that sell their artwork and crafts here too.  Denali Glass Studio is a great outlet for the local to sell their crafts.  We specialized in handcrafted artwork and crafts.  Michelle’s family who lives outside Alaska also sells their crafts at the studio as well.  We like to give the visitors something to bring home that was locally handmade.  Denali Glass Studio carries items such as: stained glass, fused glass, blown glass, glass beads, glass jewelry, beaded jewelry, wool, crochet, knitted, & felted items, sewn items, organic salves, and much more!
